To become a Spinr Founding Partner in Regina or Saskatoon, you must meet these four core requirements:
1. The Driver
License: A valid Saskatchewan Class 5 license (at minimum). Class 1–4 are also accepted.
Experience: You must be an "Experienced Driver" (out of the GDL program) for at least 2 years.
Clean Record: Less than 12 demerit points on your SGI record and no impaired driving-related suspensions in the last 10 years.
Criminal Record Check: A valid Criminal Record Check including a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC), issued within the last 90 days.
2. The Vehicle
Age: The vehicle must be 9 years old or newer.
Condition: Must pass an annual SGI-certified Light Vehicle Inspection.
Registration: The vehicle must be registered in Saskatchewan. We will help you add the 'Rideshare' indicator through SGI once approved.
Markings: You must display two Spinr decals on your vehicle while driving (we provide these).
3. The Insurance
You just need to maintain your standard SGI base plate insurance.
