Every other charge is collected for someone else — the fare for your driver, insurance for the insurer, city fees for your city, tax for the government — and passed straight through, never marked up. If a fee isn’t on this list, we can’t charge it.

Riding with Spinr, step by step

See the fare before you book. Enter where you’re going. The estimated fare, with its fees listed, shows before you confirm.
Book ahead for an early flight. Schedule a ride from 15 minutes to 7 days ahead. Scheduled rides aren’t surge-priced.
Check before you get in. The app shows your driver’s name and photo, and the car’s make, colour and licence plate. Check they match before you get in.
Share your trip, and get help if you need it. Send a live trip link to someone you trust. Press and hold SOS to alert your emergency contacts and Spinr’s safety team, with 911 one tap away.
Cancel free for two minutes. Cancel free for two minutes after a driver accepts. After that, or once your driver has arrived, a cancellation fee may apply.
Tip if you like, and keep the receipt. Add a tip and rate your trip in the app. Your receipt, also emailed to you, lists the fare, fees and each tax on its own line.

What is Spinr?

Spinr is a proudly Canadian rideshare platform serving Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. We connect local riders with local drivers through the Spinr app, with clear pricing and no surge pricing.

Where is Spinr available?

Spinr is currently available only in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. We are proudly Canadian, helping local riders connect with local drivers. Enter your pickup and destination in the app to check availability for your trip.

How do I book a ride?

Open the Spinr app, enter your pickup and destination, choose an available vehicle option, and confirm. You can review the fare and estimated pickup time before booking.

A temporary authorization hold may be placed on your card when you request a ride. This is separate from the final trip payment.

How do I cancel a ride, and will I be charged?

You can cancel from the ride screen. It's free before a driver accepts your ride and for 2 minutes after they accept. After that, or once your driver has arrived at pickup, a $4.50 cancellation fee applies, and $4.00 of it goes to your driver.

Can I schedule a ride for later?

Yes. Choose Schedule when booking and select your preferred pickup date and time. Scheduling lets you request a future pickup, but driver availability and arrival times can vary. Check the app for updates as your pickup time approaches. If your plans are time-sensitive, allow extra time for your journey.

How do I get a receipt for my trip?

Open the trip in your ride history to view and share its receipt. The receipt shows the trip fare and any applicable fees, taxes and tips. Spinr does not apply surge pricing.
